Albourne Estate – Multi Vintage
Albourne Estate Winery is a small, family run vineyard just to the north of Brighton on the South Downs. The wines are sustainably produced with a meticulous attention to detail allowing for delicious, hand crafted wines representing the terroir of the English countryside.
Made from a blend of base wines in the champagne method this is a mix of vintages hence the name “multi-vintage”. Aged on the lees for 24 months this is an affordable, approachable English Sparkling Wine.
Think panetonne, candied fruit, brioche and you’re on the right lines. expressive and generous, yet with a delightful soft mouthfeel. Drink now on it’s own or with a salad or fish. A great entry wine.
