Cos Frappato
COS are situated in the province of Ragusa, a collaboration between three friends – COS comes from the first letter of each of their three last names. They follow the principles of biodynamic farming and use terracotta vases for vinification to leave no aroma or flavour trace from the vessels. They are responsible for putting this area back on the map in terms of wine-making through sticking to their rigorous practises, producing top quality wines.
Cos Frappato is vibrant, strawberry, clean and juicy. Frappato has a warm ruby colour. The aromas are delicious; fragrant wild strawberries and hint of candied orange peel and light spice. The texture is silky with a fine balance of clear fruit and structure, depth and length. It is unoaked, complex, layered and juicy.
