Domaine Jean-Baptiste – Glou-Glou – Beaujolais Nouveau 2024
The term ‘Glou Glou’ is meant to evoke liquid pouring out the bottle. And trust us, once the cork has been popped, you will not be able to stop reaching for the bottle.
It is a delectable Beaujolais Villages wine and is crafted completely from the Gamay grape varietal, employing a natural winemaking method that does not include any additives. The wine is matured in cement vats for five months, allowing it to develop its distinct fruity, fresh flavour.
It bursts with flavours of juicy red cherries and raspberries, which are balanced by subtle traces of spice on the palate. It is a light, easy-drinking red wine that is ideal for people looking for a fruity and refreshing wine to drink with friends.Â
The Glou-Glou complements French pate and dry-cured meats beautifully, making it an ideal choice for charcuterie platters. During the summer, it can also be cooled for added refreshment.
