Fabrice Gasnier – Vielle Vignes – Chinon
The Fabrice Gasnier estate is found in the Loire Valley of France and its 25 hectares are entirely run by the family.
The wines are all certified biodynamic and they have been working in this way for the last 8 years.
The vines are at least 50 years old with extremely low yields. This wine is made using 100% Cabernet Franc and using native yeasts.
The resulting flavours are vibrant and so drinkable. Very concentrated fruit flavours with a delicious rich flavour profile. This would be magnificent with a beef roast dinner or any rich flavoured meal. This wine stands up to spice too.
