Gabriela – Manzanilla Sherry
Manzanilla is a fino style of sherry made in the port of Sanlucar de Barrameda. It’s made in the same way as fino sherry and is always very dry and pale. It’s often described as having a salty tang believed to come from the fact that its made by the sea and the salty air somehow gets integrated into the final flavour of the wine. The flor is thicker in this region due to the high humidity and cooler temperatures resulting in a fresher and more delicate flavour than other fino wines.
This is easy to drink and has soft, bready aromas. Complex and powerful. A beauty.
