The Bertoldi Gran Passione family winery started in 1932 situated near Lake Garda very close to the city of Verona. This winery focuses on creating beautiful, traditional, high quality wines that are typical of the area, whilst making them accessible in price to expand peoples’ experience of Italian wines.
This Venetian red is classed as a baby Amarone! With a deep purple hue, rich black fruit flavours and a leathery note that mingles with raisin and prune, this is a special bargain that is perfect for a romantic evening. Rich and velvet Corvina/Merlot blend, using appassimento method, with a few months of oak ageing for those vanilla, spicy notes.
