Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve
Johnnie Walker is one of the worlds most famous blended whiskies. Johnnie Walker originated in the 19th Century in Ayreshire in south-western Scotland, Johnnies blends were extremely popular with his customers at the grocery store he ran. The business took off after his son inherited the business and began to actively market “walkers old highland” a blended scotch. In 1870 the company used the distinctive square cut bottles for the first time. Since then of course the business has developed it’s various colour coded blends and has a well deserved superb reputation.
Gold Label is the replacement premium blend for Gold Label 18. It has been created around using a single malt whisky from the Clynelish Distillery in the Highlands. The Master Blenders’ skill is in blending the whiskies together to create a whisky with an extraordinary range of flavour and yet which retains its house style.
Smooth, easy drinking with flavours of toffee, a hint of banana, spice and the johnnie Walker trademark sweetness.Â
