Montes Alpha Colchagua Carmenere
Montes Alpha is the brainchild of top Chilean wine-maker Aurelio Montes and Douglas Murray who set out to put Chile on the map as producers of premium quality wines. They use only the best produce and techniques to ensure the quality.
A deep ruby-red colour with violet highlights. The nose opens with aromas of ripe blackberries and blueberries followed by notes of black plums and dried figs, milk chocolate, mocha and a light touch of black pepper. Nicely structured and balanced on the palate, with well-rounded tannins leading to a long and pleasing finish.
