The Gauldrons Campbeltown Vatted Malt Whisky
Douglas Laing have been independent bottlers since 1948.
This lovely whisky is part of a series which aims to provide us with whiskies that give us typicity for each Scottish Whisky region.
Please don’t turn your nose up because this is a blend. In this case the whole truly is greater thn the sum of its parts. The Gauldrons is fresh and clean with a hint of gentle smoke and dried seaweed – the whiskies contained within come from the following distilleries: Glen Scotia and Springbank.
On the palate it is distinctly spicy with vanilla and a gentle puff of smoke.
