Travaglini – Nebbiolo Costa Della Sesia

Travaglini Gattinara is located in the Piedmont region of Italy and is a family run operation. Over the years it has secured it’s reputation as one of the most credited producers of wine made from the Nebbiolo grape.

This 100% Nebbiolo wine is an elegant and complex example of a Gattinara. Whilst somewhat flying under the radar compared to Barolo and Barbaresco, the more famous Piedmont Nebbiolo wines, Gattinara are lovely softer expressions of Nebbiolo. This has a particularly expressive nose with hints of damson and cherry. On the palate it is well balanced with silky rounded tannins. Pairs well with pasta dishes, roast meats and cheese.
